Real Wedding: Lauren & Justin

Earlier in 2017, Shelley with Events with Shelley reached out to me collaborate on an October wedding she was planning. After hearing more about the wedding, I knew I needed to team up with Shelley for this. Shelley would plan the wedding, and I would coordinate/direct the big day. A few weeks before the wedding, Shelley and I met with the bride, Lauren, and her mother, Belinda at The Cliffs at Mountain Park. These two ladies were the absolute sweetest. Both Lauren and her mother were so kind and so humble and truly wanted Lauren and Justin’s wedding day to be special, beautiful, and memorable. The day was perfect. Grab a cup of whatever you fancy, and enjoy these images from Getz Creative Photography.

With a color palette of neutrals and various shades of blushes, you know my heart was melting over the design aesthetic that Shelley, Lauren, and Belinda had planned. Everything was perfect on the day of the wedding. An A-Team list of vendors arrived early to begin setting up the Reception at The Cliffs at Mountain Park, and later we arrived to quickly set up the Ceremony at The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel. One of the most special things about Lauren and Justin’s wedding was the fact that they were married in the same chapel Lauren’s father’s company built many years ago (you can read more about this here).

Right before Lauren’s father walked her down the aisle, Rhoda Weaver sang “How Great is Thy Faithfulness”, and I’m not sure there was a dry eye in the building. Lauren was absolutely stunning, and the rest of their Ceremony was one of the most beautiful ones I’ve ever seen.

After the Ceremony, everyone made their way over to The Cliffs at Mountain Park for drinks, dinner, and dancing. The Voltage Brothers killed it on music, and the dance floor was never empty. It was a beautiful, fun party where everyone truly celebrated Justin and Lauren!

It’s moments like these that remind me of how grateful I am to be able to  help couples plan and coordinate such a special day in their lives.

I’m also super grateful to be a part of such a supportive, encouraging weddings and events industry here. Thank you, Shelley, for allowing me to collaborate with you on this stunning wedding!

Thank you to the Rubio family for trusting me to take the reigns on the day of the wedding!

And a big thank you to Justin & Lauren for allowing me to help you feel like a guest at your own wedding and for being one of the kindest couples I know. I wish you both an incredible first year of marriage and beyond!
