Planning your wedding is so much easier now with so many online tools readily available at your fingertips. But with so many options out there, how is a girl to choose?
Today I’m sharing my favorite online wedding planning tools with you 😉
What did we ever do without Google Drive? You can create documents and spreadsheets. You can share them with anyone. You can access them anywhere (online or offline). And everything is kept in one place. You could use Google Drive to collect your guest list addresses and RSVPs in a spreadsheet. You could keep track of all vendor contracts in one file. You can create a budget spreadsheet and keep it updated in Drive. So. Many. Options.
AN ELECTRONIC CALENDAR
I used to be one of those girls who LOVED her paper planners. But in my busy life, they weren’t ideal, so I switched to using a calendar on my phone. It’s been a game-changer. It doesn’t matter if you use iCal or Google Calendar (I personally use Google Calendar because I can access it easily from any device). Whatever you choose, I would suggest making sure it at least syncs with your phone or tablet. Once you have the calendar, create a sub-calendar for all wedding-related dates and reminders. That way you can view it as a stand-alone calendar or integrated with all other appointments. You can keep track of meetings and appointments, payment due dates for contracts and services, and reminders for wedding tasks.
A WEDDING WEBSITE
I don’t think it matters which platform you use, but I always tell Bespoken Brides to create a wedding website ESPECIALLY if you are having a destination wedding or have a lot of out-of-town guests. If you’re confused on what to include, check this post out for some guidance! (BONUS: That post will also list out some of my favorite wedding website platforms!)
Even if you aren’t using the above tools, make sure that you are constantly backing up whatever online tools you are using. And back it up/save it all in more than one place. The last thing you want to happen is to lose EVERYTHING you’ve worked on because you forgot to save.
Bespoken Brides who book the Full-Planning or Partial Planning package also get access to our customized online suite of planning tools! These have been, by far, one of the things our brides rave about throughout the planning process!
