A Romantic Wedding at Revel Event Center

Today’s wedding was a long time in the making. I worked with Kayla and Evan for over a year, planning and designing their wedding at Revel Event Center in Greenville, SC. When we first started planning, I asked the couple what 5 things they would include in their dream wedding… their answer? “Candles, Wood Arch, Greenery, a Photo Booth, and Loved Ones” And I am THRILLED to say we were able to include their priorities and dreams in their wedding day.

A Classic Wedding at The Poinsett Club

Elizabeth and Robert got married this past June at First Presbyterian Church, and then followed with a Reception at The Poinsett Club in Greenville, SC. Their classic wedding was beautiful. Elizabeth wore a gorgeous gown with a modern touch, while Robert wore a classic black tux. The bridesmaids exuded a timeless look in long black dresses, while the groomsmen donned black tuxes like Robert.

A Classic Hunter Green Wedding at Greenville Country Club

We watched the weather carefully a few weeks ago as Hurricane Florence made her way along the southeastern coast and then thundered over the Carolinas. Becoming more and more aware that Hannah and Matt’s wedding could be affected by the tail end of this natural disaster that was devastating so many across our area, we acted quickly.

A Romantic Boho Wedding in Spartanburg, SC

We consider it an absolute honor when another vendor refers us to a bride... so can you imagine when Kate Asire recommended us to one of her interns? We were so thrilled and completely humbled by this! And when we met Julia for coffee for the first time, it was like talking to a friend. And sure enough, she ended up feeling more like a friend than anything. To the point where she freelanced for Kate for my own wedding, and I was so warmed by the fact that she showed up to deliver my bouquets the morning of my wedding.

A Shades of Blue Summer Wedding in Spartanburg, SC

This past June I had the pleasure, joy, and honor to help plan and bring together Jordan and Tucker's beautiful wedding in downtown Spartanburg at Indigo Hall. When Jordan reached out to us to help plan her and Tucker's June 2018 wedding, I was so thrilled. After meeting for happy hour in NOMA Square in downtown Greenville, SC, I left feeling hopeful and excited. They were such warm and kind people. We, of course, talked a lot about their wedding, their dreams, and their visions for their big day. But Jordan and I also talked about our common factor - we were both teachers. I have, since then, quit my full-time teaching job to focus on Bespoken, but after 12 years in education, I have a heart for teachers and all they do. So Jordan and I hit it off and had a lot to talk about. After our meeting, I was so eager to dive into the planning process with them.

A Catholic Wedding Celebration in Greenville, SC

What an amazing wedding celebration for a truly special couple! Marina came to us about a year before her wedding, interested in working with us for her and Matt's 2018 wedding. With a full spring wedding lineup already, I wasn't sure if we would be best in serving this lovely couple the way they deserve. But after lots of conversation, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that these were two people Bespoken just HAD to help out. So we started working together, locking in some major vendors right off the bat, and from there, everything started to fall into place so beautifully.

A Timeless Black Tie Wedding in Greenville, SC

Christina and Chris contacted us about a year and a half before their wedding. They needed a wedding planner to help guide them through the entire planning process for their Greenville, SC wedding at The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel and The Commerce Club. They were smart about it, too. They are already super busy people with busy lives and busy careers (Christina is a doctor, and Chris is an engineer), and they knew with some big life changes coming up, they were going to have to press "pause" on wedding plans for a few months while they focused on some pretty big life moments.

Anyone who has ever known Caroline, Matt, or their families was eagerly awaiting this beautiful celebration of these two joining together. Their excitement, love, and support was so evident you could feel a sense of peace the entire day.

The Sweetest Wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation | Charleston, SC

We had the honor of helping Chase and Mekaela, two of the sweetest people, plan their Charleston wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation. It was by far one of the most tender, meaningful weddings we've ever witnessed. With a strong focus on God, each other, and their families, these two lovebirds made sure that no moment was overlooked. The decor and details were simple, yet strong in meaning. The love between Chase and Mekaela is strong and steadfast, and this was one of those weekends where you walk away and never forget the emotion. Carrie Elizabeth captured the day so well. We'll let the photos and Chase and Mekaela tell you the story...

A Glamorous Rainy Day Wedding in Greenville, SC

As wedding planners and designers, we work hard to make sure every single bride's wedding day is perfect. We work hard making sure nothing gets overlooked. But we also know that most of the time, something won't go as planned. Whether it's the band playing the wrong song choice or a bird flying into your reception space from a door left open or a bridesmaid dress ripping right before she's supposed to walk down the aisle... something will inevitably not go as planned. We are pretty good at thinking on the spot, staying calm under pressure, and problem-solving quickly without damaging the flow of events.
