A Romantic Blush Wedding at The Old Cigar Warehouse in Greenville, SC

From the moment I talked to Kally on the phone about helping her plan hers and Matt’s wedding, I knew that I wanted her to become a Bespoken Bride. Laid-back, cool, with a love for life and people, she was so easy to talk to, and I could only cross my fingers she chose us as her wedding planner. Sure enough - she did! And we were elated.

A Timeless Autumn Wedding at Greenville Country Club

Casey contacted us back in February to help plan hers and Lindsay’s wedding at Greenville Country Club. She knew she needed help in coordinating her wedding, but after speaking with her, we realized she was also looking for some guidance with the design plan. After our conversation, Casey ended up hiring us for our Coordination & Design Package, and we got started right away.

A Classic Hunter Green Wedding at Greenville Country Club

We watched the weather carefully a few weeks ago as Hurricane Florence made her way along the southeastern coast and then thundered over the Carolinas. Becoming more and more aware that Hannah and Matt’s wedding could be affected by the tail end of this natural disaster that was devastating so many across our area, we acted quickly.

A Romantic Boho Wedding in Spartanburg, SC

We consider it an absolute honor when another vendor refers us to a bride... so can you imagine when Kate Asire recommended us to one of her interns? We were so thrilled and completely humbled by this! And when we met Julia for coffee for the first time, it was like talking to a friend. And sure enough, she ended up feeling more like a friend than anything. To the point where she freelanced for Kate for my own wedding, and I was so warmed by the fact that she showed up to deliver my bouquets the morning of my wedding.

A Shades of Blue Summer Wedding in Spartanburg, SC

This past June I had the pleasure, joy, and honor to help plan and bring together Jordan and Tucker's beautiful wedding in downtown Spartanburg at Indigo Hall. When Jordan reached out to us to help plan her and Tucker's June 2018 wedding, I was so thrilled. After meeting for happy hour in NOMA Square in downtown Greenville, SC, I left feeling hopeful and excited. They were such warm and kind people. We, of course, talked a lot about their wedding, their dreams, and their visions for their big day. But Jordan and I also talked about our common factor - we were both teachers. I have, since then, quit my full-time teaching job to focus on Bespoken, but after 12 years in education, I have a heart for teachers and all they do. So Jordan and I hit it off and had a lot to talk about. After our meeting, I was so eager to dive into the planning process with them.

A Timeless Black Tie Wedding in Greenville, SC

Christina and Chris contacted us about a year and a half before their wedding. They needed a wedding planner to help guide them through the entire planning process for their Greenville, SC wedding at The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel and The Commerce Club. They were smart about it, too. They are already super busy people with busy lives and busy careers (Christina is a doctor, and Chris is an engineer), and they knew with some big life changes coming up, they were going to have to press "pause" on wedding plans for a few months while they focused on some pretty big life moments.

Your Wedding Design Team

One of the things we love about planning weddings is the role we get to play in terms of helping our brides and grooms create their design concept. Typically we help create an initial design concept based off of a client's wish list, likes, and dislikes. Once we have that concept curated, we're able to share it with the rest of the Design Team. The Design Team is made up of a handful of various wedding and event professionals...we cannot do it alone. It takes a village. So today we're briefly talking about who is on that team.

Create a Morning Routine to Set Yourself Up for Success

Call me crazy, but I love mornings. I haven't always been this way. But the busier my life gets, the more I crave routine, and that always starts with my mornings. I love routines. I love list making, and I love creating systems that make life easier. And in the hustle and bustle of life, or -- ahem, wedding planning -- a little routine can make a world of difference.
